₹22.3 crore collected in three days after 50% rebate on fines in Bengaluru | Bengaluru

The 50% low cost on pending visitors challans’ concept of Bengaluru police appears to be a hit as many violators are clearing their dues. In three days, Bengaluru visitors police collected the fines over Rs.22.3 crore which had been pending for some time now.

In accordance with visitors police, a complete of seven,41,048 circumstances had been cleared and the division obtained Rs. 22,32,47,491 as fines. Round Rs. 8.5 crore was collected on Sunday alone and different Rs. 8 crore was collected on Friday from the violators.

The state transport division as a one-time measure supplied a 50% low cost to violators on Thursday, after it held a gathering chaired by the Karnataka State Authorized Companies Authority (KSLSA) in January. Bengaluru visitors commissioner Saleem mentioned there have been over two crore e-challan circumstances which can complete as much as a penalty of ₹500 crore within the metropolis, which is over 80% of such circumstances pending throughout the state. The 50% low cost to clear the pending visitors challans is relevant until February 11.

Violators who need to clear their fines for e-challan circumstances in Bengaluru can go to the closest visitors police stations or the Site visitors Administration Centre on Infantry Highway within the metropolis. Alternatively, in addition they will pay the nice by PayTM or Karnataka One web site.

The same provide was given by the Hyderabad visitors police in 2022 and it turned out to be an enormous success in accumulating the pending fines from violators.
