1,700 additional CISF personnel to be posted at Bengaluru airport | Bengaluru

The central authorities of India has sanctioned the deployment of round 1,700 Central Industrial Safety Power (CISF) personnel in Bengaluru’s Kempegowda Worldwide Airport, reported information company PTI. Presently, round 3,500 CISF workers are deployed on the airport in Karnataka’s capital.

In response to the report, The CISF on the airport’s Terminal-1 is engaged in frisking passengers, scanning their cabin baggage and offering a complete armed anti-hijack and counter-terrorist cowl. The newly deployed workers will reportedly work at KIA’s newly opened terminal 2. The recent deployment of safety personnel was required contemplating the truth that the passenger load on the airport will develop and extra check-in counters and services have been created, mentioned the report.

The operations of the newest terminal 2 at Kempegowda Worldwide Airport started on January 15, introduced the administration of Bengaluru airport. A five-lane approach can also be being made prepared for smoother automobile arrivals and departures for choose up and drop of passengers on the airport.
