Two Indian Military officers, a pilot and a co-pilot, had been killed after a military helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday, military officers stated.
The deceased have been recognized as Lt Col. VVVB Reddy and Main Jayanth A.
“With remorse, we inform that the pilot and the co-pilot of the helicopter, misplaced their lives within the accident,” stated Lt Col Mahendra Rawat, public relations officer, defence, Guwahati.
Lt Rawat stated that quickly after realizing of the incident, the military launched 5 search events comprising the Indian Military, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Indo-Tibetian Border Police (ITBP). The wreckage of the plane was discovered close to Banglajaap village, east of Mandala, he added.
