A 20-year-old lady was allegedly stabbed 51 instances and killed by a person in Chhattisgarh’s Korba district after she refused to speak to him, police stated on Tuesday.
The incident occurred within the pump home colony of South Japanese Coalfields Restricted (SECL) on Saturday (December 24) and the accused on the run since then, police stated.
In line with the police, the accused, who hails from Jashpur district, was recognized to the lady and he got here to fulfill her when she was alone in her home.

Superintendent of Police (SP), Korba, Santosh Kumar Singh stated that when the 2 met, they acquired into an argument concerning the former’s relationship with one other man and anguished by it, the accused coated her mouth with a pillow and allegedly stabbed her 51 instances.
The sufferer’s brother discovered her in a pool of blood when he arrived dwelling on Monday, he stated.
