The Bengaluru police on Thursday arrested three folks for allegedly assaulting a professor after the latter confronted them for littering.
The sufferer, Aurobindo Gupta, is a professor at Dayananda Sagar School.
The alleged incident occurred close to the JHBCS format in South Bengaluru round 4 pm on Monday. The three arrested people have been recognized as Bhanu Prasad, 26; Sharat, 23; and Amrut Kumar, 24. Whereas Kumar is an autorickshaw driver, Sharat and Prasad are supply brokers.
Based on police officers, the three have been in a four-wheeler and one in all them carelessly dumped a plastic glass containing some liquid, which by accident fell on Gupta, who was using a two-wheeler. The police said that Gupta confronted them and questioned the boys, citing the chance it posed to two-wheeler riders.
“The confrontation escalated and the boys allegedly punched him and attacked him with a helmet,” a police official mentioned.
Gupta sustained a light concussion, a fracture beneath his eye, and a nostril fracture. The accused have been booked beneath the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita beneath part 115 (2) for voluntarily inflicting harm.

Talking to The Indian Categorical, Gupta mentioned: “The boys have been stinking drunk and so they weren’t of their senses.
