An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 struck northwest Iran close to the border with Turkey on Saturday, killing at the very least two individuals and injuring dozens, Iranian media reported.
“There are 122 injured to date within the metropolis of Khoy… and sadly two lifeless,” emergency providers spokesperson Mojtaba Khaledi advised state tv.
