5 members of the identical household drowned within the Narmada Canal within the Kutch district of Gujarat. They misplaced their lives whereas making an attempt to avoid wasting a lady from drowning within the Narmada canal at Gundala village in Mundra., in response to Kutch West Superintendent of Police. The girl had slipped into the canal whereas fetching water.
Saurabh Singh, Kutch West SP, mentioned that the police have recovered all of the our bodies.
“5 relations drowned within the Narmada canal at Gundala village in Mundra. Police have recovered all lifeless our bodies. The incident occurred after relations jumped into the canal to avoid wasting a lady who slipped into the canal whereas fetching water,” Kutch West SP Saurabh Singh advised ANI.
The Narmada Canal brings water from the Sardar Sarovar Dam to Gujarat after which into Rajasthan. The primary canal has a size of 532 kilometres of which 458 km lies in Gujarat and 74 km in Rajasthan.
A number of experiences have highlighted the menace Narmada Canal poses attributable to it slippery slopes, and robust currents of water and algae make it troublesome for even good swimmers to barter it.
