7th Pay Commission: HRA rules updated, no house rent allowance in some cases

(2.) If he/she resides in a residence allotted to their dad and mom/son/daughter by any of those: central/state authorities, autonomous public sector enterprise and semi-government organisations (municipality, port belief, nationalised banks, LIC and so on.).

(3.) If the partner of a authorities servant has been given a residence by any of the aforementioned entities in the identical station as the federal government servant, and whether or not the worker stays in that lodging, or individually on lease.

Home Lease Allowance

That is for salaried people who stay in rented homes, and is for bills associated to such an lodging. It is available in three classes: X, Y and Z.

(1.) ‘X’ is for areas with a inhabitants of fifty lakh and extra. As really useful by the seventh Central Pay Fee (CPC), HRA is given at 24%.

(2.) ‘Y’ is for areas with inhabitants between 5 lakh and 50 lakh. It’s given at 16%.
