LONDON, Oct 12 (Reuters) – British client confidence fell in September, attributable to a steep deterioration in householders’ attitudes in the direction of their home values, a survey confirmed on Wednesday.
Pollsters YouGov and consultancy the Centre for Economics and Enterprise Analysis stated the general client confidence index for the month decreased by 1.1 factors, from 98.8 to 97.7.
“For the third month in a row, householders’ views of their property’s worth fell and we might even see this fall additional nonetheless, following hypothesis round rising rates of interest within the months to come back,” Emma McInnes, World Head of Monetary Companies at YouGov stated.
