US F-35 Fighter Jet Goes Missing After Mid-Flight Emergency

A US Marine Corps fighter jet has gone lacking in South Carolina after its pilot safely ejected the plane on Sunday. The US army officers have appealed to the general public to assist find the lacking multimillion-dollar aircraft, the Guardian reported. 

Navy officers mentioned {that a} Marine Corps pilot safely ejected the F-35 Lightning II jet over North Charleston on Sunday afternoon after a “mishap”. Base authorities mentioned they have been looking, in coordination with federal aviation regulators, round two lakes north of the town of Charleston.

The main Joint Base Charleston has requested native residents for assist.
