PM Modi to chair CSIR meeting today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a gathering of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Analysis (CSIR) Society on Saturday, Minister of Science and Know-how Dr.Jitendra Singh introduced.

The assembly may even be attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Commerce and Trade minister Piyush Goyal, other than scientists, industrialists, and senior officers of the science departments.

Briefing the media concerning the agenda of the CSIR Society assembly, Singh stated that CSIR’s analysis efforts are actually primarily focussed on inexperienced power applied sciences, STI interventions to generate employment and lift earnings ranges in rural India.

“Strengthening self-reliance throughout industrial sectors, facilitating infrastructure developments, and growing vital S&T human sources can also be the mandate of CSIR and the R&D conglomerate is adopting Synthetic Intelligence and Machine Studying platforms for its scientific pursuits. Singh added that at current CSIR has strengthened its engagement with the trade, resulting in elevated trade partnership and collaboration in CSIR-funded initiatives.
