British actor Bernard Hill, greatest identified for his supporting roles in “Titanic” and “The Lord Of The Rings” trilogy, died on Sunday aged 79, his agent introduced.
He performed Captain Edward Smith within the Oscar-winning 1997 epic romance “Titanic”, and earned worldwide recognition enjoying Theoden, King of Rohan, in two of the three “The Lord Of The Rings” movies directed by Peter Jackson.
His agent Lou Coulson confirmed his dying within the early hours of Sunday to British media shops.
Early in his profession, Hill featured within the BBC’s 1982 acclaimed drama “Boys from the Blackstuff”, which gained quite a few awards and continues to be lauded as one of many best examples of its style from the period.
He was set to return to tv screens in sequence two of a up to date BBC drama, “The Responder”, starring Martin Freeman, which begins airing within the UK in a while Sunday.
