BBCAmerican stand-up comedy legend Bob Newhart, whose deadpan supply type earned him quite a few awards, has died on the age of 94.
The star of TV sequence The Bob Newhart Present, Newhart handed away after a sequence of brief sicknesses, his publicist mentioned in an announcement supplied to the BBC on Thursday.
