The Congress on Sunday hit again on the Centre for motion towards the Rajiv Gandhi Basis (RGF) and the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Belief (RGCT), saying the transfer is geared toward diverting public consideration from the primary points being confronted by the nation.
The federal government has cancelled the Overseas Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) licences of the RGF and the RGCT — two NGOs headed by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi — for alleged violation of legal guidelines, officers stated on Sunday.
“They (Centre) recycle previous prices towards the RGF and RGCT. That is to defame the Congress and divert public consideration from problems with day-to-day concern to them,” stated Congress basic secretary, communications, Jairam Ramesh.
The economic system is in deep disaster attributable to spiralling costs, unemployment and a falling rupee, he stated.
