UK Activists Throw Cake On King Charles’ Wax Statue At London’s Madame Tussauds

Video: UK Activists Throw Cake On King Charles' Wax Statue At London's Madame Tussauds

Two local weather activists on Monday vandalised King Charles III’s waxwork statue at Madame Tussauds in London. Video footage posted on social media confirmed the 2 protesters carrying Simply Cease Oil T-shirts smearing cake over the lifelike mannequin of the British monarch.  

The clip, shared on Simply Cease Oil’s Twitter web page, confirmed the pair strolling as much as the waxwork of King Charles III, which stood subsequent to statues of Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton. “Two supporters of Simply Cease Oil have lined a Madame Tussauds waxwork mannequin of King Charles III with chocolate cake, demanding that the Authorities halts all new oil and gasoline licences and consents,” the marketing campaign group wrote on Twitter.

The activists additionally staged a sit-in protest on Knightsbridge with banners. Some demonstrators even glued themselves to the street and locked themselves collectively.

Simply Cease Oil has warned that its protests will proceed till their demand for an finish to all new oil and gasoline licenses is met by the UK authorities.
