One individual has been killed and three law enforcement officials injured in a knife assault within the jap French metropolis of Mulhouse.
A 37-year-old Algerian man was arrested on the scene and the prosecutor has opened a terrorist inquiry as a result of the suspect reportedly shouted “Allahu Akbar”, or “God is nice”.
The person injured two law enforcement officials critically, one within the neck and one within the chest. A 69-year-old Portuguese man who tried to intervene was stabbed and killed.
