The Karnataka authorities Thursday stated it’s going to conduct a high-level probe into alleged situations of honey trapping of legislators.
House Minister G Parameshwara made the announcement within the Meeting after Congress minister Ok N Rajanna claimed he was the goal of a honey-trapping try carried out by a younger lady.
The problem of honey trapping of legislators was raised by BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal who stated there have been rumours of many Congress ministers being focused by organised gangs.
Following Yatnal’s assertion, Cooperation Minister Ok N Rajanna informed the Meeting that he had been the goal of a current try at honey trapping.
“It isn’t simply leaders within the state however leaders on the nationwide degree reducing throughout events who’ve been focused. There must be an investigation,” Rajanna stated, demanding the creation of a Particular Investigation Staff (SIT) to conduct a probe.
Parameshwara, who was current within the Home, responded by stating that the federal government would order a high-level probe into the allegations.
Earlier within the day, Public Works Improvement Minister Satish Jarkiholi had acknowledged that two ministers within the authorities had been the goal of honey-trapping makes an attempt.
