DRDO officer injured in Bengaluru road rage, says defence sticker on car triggered attack | Bangalore News

A disturbing case of alleged street rage involving a Wing Commander with the Defence Analysis and Improvement Organisation (DRDO) has surfaced in Bengaluru. Wing Commander Aditya Bose posted a video on Instagram detailing a violent assault that left him bleeding and his spouse, Squadron Chief Madhumita, verbally abused.

Based on the officer, the incident came about on April 18, 2025, whereas the couple was driving from the DRDO Colony at CV Raman Nagar to the Kempegowda Worldwide Airport. As seen within the now-viral footage, Bose, his face and neck bloodied, recounted how a biker abruptly stopped their automotive and commenced hurling verbal abuse in Kannada — a confrontation that shortly turned bodily.

DRDO sticker triggers assault

Bose defined that the biker’s aggression escalated upon noticing the DRDO identification sticker on their automobile. The unknown assailant allegedly made derogatory remarks aimed toward each the officer and his spouse. When Bose stepped out of the automotive to handle the confrontation, the state of affairs spiraled uncontrolled.

“The second I bought out of my automotive, the biker hit me with a key on my brow, and there was blood,” Bose says within the video, visibly shaken and injured. He went on to allege that extra bystanders joined the biker, and one even picked up a stone to strike him on the pinnacle.

After the assault, Squadron Chief Madhumita reportedly drove Bose to the closest police station to lodge a grievance. “Regardless of serving the nation, that is how we’re handled,” Bose lamented

He added, “God assist us. God give me the facility to not retaliate. Tomorrow, if legislation and order don’t assist us, I’ll retaliate,” he warned within the video, which has since drawn robust reactions on social media.

The Bengaluru metropolis police reportedly confirmed that they’ve taken cognizance of the viral video and had been within the means of verifying the claims.
