5 employees died allegedly after inhaling fumes emanating from a dryer at a rice mill right here on Friday, police stated.
Three different employees, who fainted after inhaling the fumes, had been rushed to the district hospital, Extra Superintendent of Police, Ramanand Prasad Kushwaha, advised PTI.
The incident came about on the Rajgarhia Rice Mill and preliminary investigations recommend that a number of employees arrived on the mill this morning and went to examine smoke emanating from the dryer, the officer stated.
“The fumes had been so overwhelming that each one the employees current fainted on the scene. Upon receiving data, the fireplace service staff reached the situation and evacuated the affected people. They had been transported to the district hospital. 5 of the employees had been declared lifeless upon arrival. The remaining three injured employees are at present receiving remedy,” he added.
Police have initiated additional investigation into the circumstances resulting in the incident.
