The Nationwide Human Rights Fee has taken suo motu cognisance of a media report concerning the abduction, rape and homicide of a minor woman, in addition to the demise in an alleged police encounter of a person arrested over the crime in Karnataka’s Hubballi.
Accused of raping and murdering the minor woman, Bihar native Ritesh Kumar was shot within the leg and again when he allegedly attacked police on April 13.
