The Caste Census introduced by the Centre won’t have a bearing on the Socio-economic and Academic Survey carried out by the state authorities, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated Thursday.

He dismissed the criticism raised by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw concerning the sanctity of the caste enumeration carried out by the state governments.
