Another individual was arrested from Assam’s Dhubri district for allegedly “defending” Pakistan within the wake of the Pahalgam terror assault, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated.
With this, a complete of 37 folks have been arrested in related instances, he stated.
The individual arrested from Dhubri was recognized as Amar Ali, he added.
“Replace on Crackdown in opposition to traitors for defending Pakistan on Indian soil. A complete of 37 Anti Nationals put behind bars until now,” Sarma stated in a put up on X.

Earlier, AIUDF MLA Aminul Islam was arrested on sedition costs for allegedly “defending” Pakistan.
Twenty-six folks had been killed after terrorists struck Baisaran in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.
