The Chitradurga police submitted a 694-page cost sheet in a district court docket towards the Murugha Math chief pontiff Shivamurthy Murugha Sharanaru who has been booked for sexually harassing minor ladies.
The police submitted the cost sheet earlier than the Extra District and Classes Choose towards the Lingayat seer, the warden of the hostel and another confederate.
The pontiff was arrested on September 1 below Safety of Youngsters from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and on rape costs after two ladies lodged a criticism in Mysuru with the assistance of an NGO ‘Odanadi Seva Samsthe.’ The ladies, who had been staying within the hostel of the Ashram, mentioned the pontiff sexually harassed them.
Up to now, three FIRs have been registered towards the seer. Within the third FIR, six individuals have been named as accused together with the pontiff and the warden of the hostel.
