A 24-year-old man was handed over to the police in Indore in Madhya Pradesh on Friday by Bajrang Dal activists who claimed he had booked a lodge suite below a faux id to spend time with a Hindu lady, an official stated.
In a press assertion, Bajrang Dal native unit convener Tannu Sharma stated the person had booked the lodge in Lasudia space with a faux id card and had lured the lady to his room with the “intention of affection jihad”.
Further Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Vyas stated the person has been taken into custody for additional probe.
Proper-wing organisations typically use the time period “love jihad” to say Muslim males had been luring Hindu girls with the intention of changing them to Islam by means of marriage.
