Days after a “particular request” was made by the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA), the Centre has strengthened the safety cowl of Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and offered two bullet-resistant automobiles as escort vehicles.
The Indian Categorical first reported that the Delhi Police have began the method of accelerating safety cowl for Jaishankar following a “particular request” from MEA over the weekend after hostilities between India and Pakistan alongside the border escalated following the April 22 Pahalgam terror assault.
In response to sources, the Delhi Police have urged the Union Ministry of Residence Affairs (MHA) to conduct a menace evaluation. “After conducting an evaluation, CRPF has determined to present him two bulletproof vehicles,” an officer stated.
“He has Z class safety cowl of CRPF, which has six gunmen for cell safety, and ten extra for residence safety. Earlier, there was Z plus, which had 10 safety personnel for cell safety and ten others for residence safety,” a senior officer stated.
