A late-night argument over cigarettes turned deadly in South Bengaluru when a person allegedly ran his automotive over two software program engineers, killing one and injuring the opposite.
The police mentioned the incident occurred round 4.10 am on Might 10 close to Konanakunte Cross.
The deceased has been recognized as Sanjay H N, 29, whereas his injured good friend is Chetan Pujamath, 30.

Pratheek’s spouse then pulled him again into the automotive, however he allegedly continued threatening the duo, saying he “wouldn’t allow them to go”.
Moments later, as Sanjay rode off with Pujamath on the pillion, they tried a U-turn on Kanakapura Principal Highway.
Pratheek allegedly accelerated and rammed into their bike.

Pujamath landed on the automotive’s bonnet and suffered minor accidents, whereas Sanjay was flung into the air and landed on the footpath with extreme head accidents.
Pratheek fled the scene, however Pujamath managed to hurry Sanjay to a hospital. Sanjay succumbed to his accidents a number of days later.
Lokesh B Jagalasar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), confirmed that the case has been upgraded from tried homicide to homicide.
Pratheek has been arrested and produced earlier than a courtroom.
