Buoyed by a superb defensive efficiency, Bengal Warriors beat Dabang Delhi KC 35-30 within the second sport of the night on the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Whereas the star raiders of each groups, Maninder Singh and Naveen Kumar bought 10 factors every, the distinction was the Warriors’ defenders Vaibhav Garje (6 factors) and Girish Maruti Ernak (5 factors).

Proper off the bat, Naveen Kumar revealed his gameplan, concentrating on the Warriors’ Girish Maruti Ernak within the left nook, and he even touched him out with the very first raid of the night. The 2 groups traded blows always from there on as Naveen’s raids have been matched by Maninder Singh on the different finish.

It seemed like Dabang Delhi Okay.C. might be able to impact an All-Out on the Warriors within the eleventh minute. Nonetheless, a Tremendous Sort out on Naveen, by Vaibhav Garje, turned the momentum within the Warriors’ favour.

All of the sudden from there, the Warriors seized management, with their defence holding sturdy and taking out Dabang Delhi Okay.C.’s second and third raiders Manjeet and Ashu Malik on Do-or-Die raids. Bengal Warriors went into the break with a slender 15-13 lead.

The Warriors have been, by far, the extra energetic within the opening minutes of the second half, and with barely 5 minutes gone, Ajinkya Kapre’s Tremendous Raid caught out Ashu Malik, Vijay Kumar and Krishan, leaving Naveen as the only real Dabang Delhi Okay.C. participant on the mat. On his very subsequent raid, Naveen was tackled because the Warriors inflicted the primary All-Out of the match and took a 23-18 lead.

Garje, particularly, was good within the second half. His excellent defending ensured that the Warriors saved extending their lead. Regardless of Dabang Delhi Okay.C.’s try at mounting a comeback within the dying minutes, the Warriors held on to their lead and earned a much-needed win.

The Bengal Warriors and Dabang Delhi Okay.C. encounter was the final sport of the Bengaluru leg. Season 9 of vivo Professional Kabaddi will now transfer to the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports activities Advanced, Balewadi, Pune on Friday.
