Almost two-years after the Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI) introduced the withdrawal of Rs 2,000 banknotes from circulation, Rs 6,181 crore price of the same denomination notes are but to come back again to the central financial institution.

Though withdrawn from circulation, the Rs 2,000 banknote continues to be a authorized tender.
