Three new police stations have been added to the jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Metropolis police from the neighbouring Ramanagara and Bengaluru Rural districts on Tuesday, within the wake of the growth of the town into close by districts.
The three new police stations added to the jurisdiction of the Bengaluru Police Commissionerate are Kumbalgodu in Ramanagar on the western boundary of the town, Avalahalli from the Bengaluru Rural district within the east, and Hebbagodi on the south-eastern border.
With the inclusion, the overall variety of legislation and order police stations in Bengaluru Metropolis has risen to 111, aside from 42 visitors stations.
“Together with Avalahalli and Hebbagodi police stations in Bangalore district, Kumbalgodu police station in Ramanagara district has been included within the jurisdiction of Bangalore Metropolis police,” the Bengaluru police stated in a press release on Tuesday.
