Eight males drowned within the Banas river in Rajasthan’s Tonk district on Tuesday, police mentioned.
Three others had been rescued and their situation is steady, Superintendent of Police, Tonk, Vikas Sangwan, mentioned.
He mentioned a gaggle of 11 males aged between 25 and 30 years had entered the river for taking a shower after they slipped into deep water.
“They had been taken out and rushed to a hospital the place medical doctors declared eight of them useless,” he mentioned.
The SP mentioned it was not instantly clear how they slipped into the deep water.

The deceased had come from Jaipur for a picnic, he mentioned.
