Centre’s big infra push for J&K: New tunnels, flyovers, roads among 19 key projects worth Rs 10,600 crore | India News

In a serious infrastructure push, the Centre has sanctioned 19 key tasks for Jammu and Kashmir, together with two tunnels, flyovers and roads. The tasks are value a complete Rs 10,637 crore.

The important thing tasks embrace two tunnels at Pir Ki Gali and Sadhna Cross. The nine-kilometre Pir ki Gali tunnel, which is to be constructed at a price of Rs 3,830 crore, will present all-weather connectivity between Kashmir and the Pir Panjal area of Jammu by means of the historic Mughal Street.
