Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Sunday denied studies of his appointment as the top of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) Different Backward Courses (OBC) Advisory Council. The primary assembly of the Council is scheduled to be held in Bengaluru on July 15.
Chatting with reporters a day after studies of his appointment surfaced, Siddaramaiah stated that although he had seen it within the papers, he was not conscious of his appointment as chairman. “I’ll discuss to the excessive command at present (Sunday),” he stated.
Siddaramaiah advised the media that he was not conscious of what his place could be within the Council. “The AICC OBC wing president had requested me to carry a gathering (of the unit) in Karnataka. So, I organized for it on July 15,” Siddaramaiah stated, replying within the destructive on whether or not this meant his entry in nationwide politics.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister’s Workplace put out an announcement dismissing studies of his appointment as head of the Council. “No such appointment has taken place. Siddaramaiah is a member of the OBC Advisory Council.
