A person has been arrested for taking his automotive into the motorcade of RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav inebriated in Patna district of dry Bihar, police mentioned on Thursday.
The incident happened late on Wednesday when Yadav, the chief of opposition within the state meeting, was passing via J P Ganga Path, Sultanganj police station SHO Manoj Kumar mentioned.
“When the automobile immediately entered the convoy, it was promptly stopped by the personnel on patrolling responsibility. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the driving force was inebriated.
“He’s a resident of Mokama in Patna district. He has been arrested and booked below sections of the BNS and prohibition legal guidelines,” the SHO added.
The sale and consumption of alcohol was banned in Bihar by the Nitish Kumar authorities in April 2016.
