Three nursing college students of the Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) who had been on a picnic drowned within the backwaters of the Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) dam in Meenakshipura in Karnataka’s Mandya district on Sunday.
The police recognized the deceased as Prashanth, 22, Krishna, 21, and Siddesh, 22. Prashanth was from Periyapatna taluk in Mysuru district, Krishna from Haveri district, and Siddesh from Chamarajanagar district.
