‘Do you want me to send a child out of the stadium?’: Emma Raducanu argues with umpire over crying child | Tennis News

The third-round match between ladies’s world no 1 Aryna Sabalenka and British No 1 Emma Raducanu witnessed some dramatic scenes when Raducanu was so hassled by a loud fan that she beseeched the chair umpire to eject the noisemaker. There was just one hilarious downside with the request: the supply of the noise was a crying toddler.

Media stories of the sport famous that Raducanu was first distracted — after which angered — by the fixed wailing of the kid from the stands and consequently tried to inform the chair umpire to behave and shut out the noise. “It’s a toddler, would you like me to ship a toddler out of the stadium?” the chair umpire snapped again.

At this, loads of followers will be heard agreeing as Raducanu factors at them as if to say that the request is justified.
