The Defence Analysis and Improvement Organisation on Wednesday performed a profitable maiden flight-test of Part-II ballistic missile defence interceptor AD-1 missile from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha, the Ministry of Defence mentioned.
In a press release, MoD said that the flight-test was carried out with participation of all BMD weapon system parts positioned at totally different geographical places.
