56th GST assembly: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary stated that the choice was arrived at after a consensus was constructed amid states for charge rationalisation. The choice was taken after a marathon assembly of the GST Council that lasted for 10.5 hours, by which the Centre and states thrashed out key tax proposals.
