The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon on eastbound sixth Avenue simply east of Federal Boulevard, Denver police stated in a 1:28 p.m. tweet.
The motorcyclist died on the scene. Police initially stated that the crash concerned a motorist, however the incident was later described as a single-vehicle crash. An investigation is ongoing. The motorcyclist was not recognized on Wednesday.
