Greater than 300 flights have been delayed Monday at Denver Worldwide Airport throughout a thunderstorm-fueled floor delay issued by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Flights headed out and in of Denver have been being delayed by a mean of 38 minutes as of three:15 p.m. Monday, based on the FAA. These delays have been anticipated to extend after 4 p.m. and proceed till 9 p.m., when the visitors administration program is anticipated to finish.
At 3:15 p.m., 318 flights had been delayed and three had been canceled, based on flight monitoring software program FlightAware.
Southwest delayed 151 flights, adopted by 70 from United, 47 from SkyWest and 20 from Frontier. Seven different airways delayed between one and 9 flights.
American Airways canceled two flights and United canceled one, based on FlightAware.
Thunderstorms are probably Monday at DIA between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m., based on hourly forecasts from the Nationwide Climate Service. Rain showers are anticipated to proceed after the thunderstorms finish and into the Tuesday morning commute.
