Starbucks co-founder visits Bengaluru’s Vidyarthi Bhavan, tastes the famed masala dosa and coffee

Bengaluru’s iconic Vidyarthi Bhavan had an sudden visitor on Thursday. Zev Siegl, the co-founder of Starbucks, visited the restaurant and tried their famed masala dosa and filter espresso.

Siegl was on the town to attend the International Traders Meet 2022 being held within the metropolis. He co-founded Starbucks, a world chain of coffeehouses, in 1971 and served as a Vice President and director until his departure from the corporate in 1980. He now works as a start-up guide and enterprise advisor.

On social media, Vidyarthi Bhavan stated they have been “comfortable and proud” to have him as a buyer.

Siegl wrote: “My mates, it’s an honour to take pleasure in your well-known meals, espresso and heat welcome. I’ll take this excellent expertise with me again to Seattle. Thanks.” He added a doodled a steaming cup of espresso with three stars on it as nicely.

Vidyarthi Bhavan, which was began in 1943-44 as a canteen for college students of a close-by faculty, has since change into a beloved landmark in Bengaluru.
