Karnataka government mandates 10-minute yoga for school students every day | Bengaluru

The Karnataka authorities on Thursday instructed all main and secondary college managements within the state to conduct meditation classes day by day for 10 minutes. The choice is taken to enhance college students’ stamina and focus, and scale back their psychological stress.

Karnataka main and secondary training minister BC Nagesh shared a letter that reads, “Each day meditation is required in colleges to assist enhance stamina, focus, well being, scale back bodily and psychological stress amongst main college college students within the state. All the faculties and pre-university faculties within the state ought to organize time for meditation for the scholars and take obligatory motion,” he wrote.

On Tuesday, chief minister Basavaraj Bommai additionally mentioned a lesson on Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar can be included within the college syllabus of the Karnataka state board. “In his very brief span of life, Puneeth Rajkumar impressed everybody together with his commendable work and repair, We embrace a lesson about his life at school textbooks and carry ahead his message,” mentioned Bommai.
