Karnataka government grants in-principle approval for Bengaluru Metro phase 3

The Karnataka authorities has granted in-principle approval for the Bengaluru Metro’s phase-3, which includes two traces—the primary operating a size of 32.16 km from Kempapura to JP Nagar Fourth Section and the second a 12.82km line from Hosahalli to Kadabagere.

The section is anticipated to value Rs 16,368 crore. The Kempapura-JP Nagar line could have 22 stations, together with six interchange stations, whereas the Hosahalli-Kadabagere line could have 9 stations.

Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya tweeted Wednesday that the state authorities had given in-principle approval for the undertaking. The in-principle approval means clearance from the departments of city improvement and finance to fund the undertaking, which receives funding additionally from the central authorities, aside from loans raised by the Bengaluru Metro Rail Company Restricted.
