Search and rescue personnel responded to a snowmobile incident in Grand County on Wednesday, and two injured snowmobilers have been air-lifted to hospitals.
The Christmas Eve Day incident occurred within the Church’s Park space and concerned a single snowmobile with two riders. Authorities offered no additional particulars about how the snowmobilers bumped into bother or the character of their accidents.
The Grand County Search and Rescue was joined by Grand County EMS and the Grand County Sheriff’s Workplace to extricate and transport the riders to a helicopter touchdown zone in Church’s Park, in line with a Friday press launch. Due to the character of the accidents and the placement of the incident, two medical helicopters from Flight for Life and HealthOne Airlife have been dispatched.
Every injured snowmobiler was transported by air for additional medical care. Different snowmobilers within the space helped first responders deal with the injured events.
