Stamos spiraled into alcohol abuse, which resulted in a 2015 DUI arrest. He instantly entered rehab and started a restoration program, and has been sober ever since.
The ER alum mentioned that working one of many steps in Alcoholics Nameless made him understand he did have some faults when it got here to his cut up from Romijn.
“One of many steps in AA, the fourth step, is you lay out all of your grievances, every thing that individuals did to you. After which I mentioned, ‘Oh, she did this, she did that, blah, blah, she did blah, blah.’ After which my sponsor goes, ‘Now what half did you play in that?’ And I’m going, like, ‘None,'” he recalled.
After his sponsor helped Stamos understand he had “some half” within the breakup, “You begin pondering, it is like, ‘Oh, she wasn’t the Satan. Perhaps I used to be as a lot responsible as her.'”
Stamos took one other probability on marriage, tying the knot with actress Caitlin McHugh in February 2018. The couple shares a seven-year-old son, Billy.
