In one other weird twist, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos now claims that investigators didn’t discover a glove on Nancy’s property.
“We have now no glove. We by no means discovered a glove on that property,” he instructed Fox Information on Friday, February 13.
It had been reported on Thursday, February 12 that Nanos was blocking the FBI from a glove and DNA that have been discovered inside Nancy’s residence in order that it could possibly be processed on the company’s nationwide crime lab, allegedly opting to have the DNA examined at a personal lab as a substitute.
This led to Nanos being accused of prolonging the case and never utilizing federal sources.
Nanos stated these accusations have been “not even near the reality” in a press release to KVOA.
“Truly, the FBI simply wished to ship the one or two they discovered by the crime scene, closest to it, mile, mile and a half… I stated ‘No, why try this? Let’s simply ship all of them to the place all of the DNA exists, all of the profiles and the markers exist.” They agreed, is smart,’ he instructed the information outlet Thursday night time.”
Whereas he stated “fairly a quantity” of gloves had been recovered throughout their search, he admitted they “did not even know the true worth” of them.
