AMD and Tata Consultancy Companies (TCS) have expanded their long-standing partnership to introduce a brand new rack-scale AI infrastructure platform in India. The businesses will collectively develop and deploy AMD’s superior ‘Helios’ AI structure to help large-scale synthetic intelligence initiatives throughout the nation.

The initiative can be executed by TCS’s subsidiary, HyperVault AI Knowledge Centre Restricted. Collectively, AMD and TCS will create an AI-ready information centre design that may deal with as much as 200 megawatts (MW) of energy. As well as, the 2 companies may even work along with hyperscalers and AI companies to allow the creation of enormous information centre infrastructure in India.

Powering India’s AI development

The Helios platform is designed to function at rack scale, that means it integrates computing, networking and software program methods right into a extremely environment friendly structure constructed particularly for AI workloads. It will likely be powered by AMD Intuition™ MI455X GPUs, next-generation AMD EPYC™ “Venice” CPUs, AMD Pensando™ Vulcano NICs and supported by the open ROCm™ software program ecosystem.

AMD mentioned Helios is purpose-built to help sovereign AI factories – massive computing setups that enable nations and enterprises to develop and deploy AI fashions inside their very own infrastructure.

Dr Lisa Su, Chair and CEO, AMD, mentioned, “AI adoption is accelerating from pilots to large-scale deployments, and that shift requires a brand new blueprint for compute infrastructure. With ‘Helios’, we’re delivering an open, rack-scale AI platform designed for efficiency, effectivity, and long-term flexibility. Along with TCS, we’re enabling enterprises throughout India to deploy AI at scale immediately whereas constructing the compute basis of tomorrow.”

TCS, considered one of India’s largest IT companies companies, established HyperVault in 2025 to give attention to constructing safe and dependable AI-ready infrastructure at a gigawatt scale. The Helios deployment marks a serious step towards that objective.

Okay Krithivasan, MD and CEO, TCS, mentioned, “This collaboration lays the muse for AMD’s first ‘Helios’-powered AI infrastructure in India. By combining our strengths in AI, connectivity, sustainable energy, and superior information centre engineering, we’re poised to ship state-of-the-art infrastructure options for AI firms and world enterprises. We’re thrilled to deepen our longstanding partnership with AMD as we broaden our participation within the AI ecosystem – Infrastructure to Intelligence.”
