At the very least 19 lives have been misplaced after a small passenger aircraft crashed into Lake Victoria because it was approaching an airport in Tanzania on Sunday. Lake Victoria which is Africa’s largest lake by space was struck by the downed plane close to Bukoba airport.
The aircraft had dozens of passengers on board as per officers though the fatalities within the crash stay undetermined. Earlier experiences mentioned as many as 26 folks have been rescued from the aircraft, businesses rep reported.
Tanzanian airline firm Precision Air mentioned the flight was coming from the coastal metropolis of Dar es Salaam.
Rescue boats have been deployed and emergency staff have been persevering with to rescue different passengers trapped within the aircraft, TBC additional reported.
