Trump appeared to go off-script whereas delivering remarks reflecting on the “400,000 souls” that have been laid to relaxation at Arlington, together with Personal William Henry Christman of Pennsylvania, who died at 19 years previous. Trump paused and ad-libbed that the soldier was “an ideal younger man, they are saying.”
Then he determined to do some riffing.
“Beside him are greater than eighteen thousand different younger males named William, over twenty thousand named John, over 13 thousand named James – joined over time by Isaacs, Elijahs, Earls, Hanks, Helens, Juans, Margarets, Marius, Donalds – not too many-” he added with a brief snicker after mentioning his personal title. “And others whose names inform the true story of American greatness.”
