UK reiterates support for India’s permanent United Nations Security Council seat

The UK reiterated its assist for the creation of latest everlasting seats within the United Nations Safety Council (UNSC) for India, Germany, Japan and Brazil, calling for the enlargement of the council in each everlasting and non-permanent classes.

Addressing the UNSC’s annual debate on Safety Council reform, UK Ambassador to the UN Barbara Woodward stated, “Our place is well-known. The UK has lengthy referred to as for the enlargement of the Safety Council in each the everlasting and non-permanent classes.”
