Crimes against women in Tripura down by 30% since 2018, says CM Manik Saha

There was a 30% decline within the crime in opposition to girls in Tripura since 2018, stated chief minister Dr Manik Saha on Sunday.

Saha stated incidents of eve-teasing have been decreased by practically 60%, molestation by 35%, rape and dowry deaths by 10% every, and homicide by 15% in Tripura because the Bharatiya Janata Occasion (BJP)- Indigenous Folks’s Entrance of Tripura (IPFT) coalition authorities got here to energy in 2018.
